Effective August 20, 2026
CensusDesk is a product of iFocus Labs, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“CensusDesk,” “we,” “us”). We build lead-capture and census software for independent senior living communities. This policy covers censusdesk.com, the community websites we build and host for our customers, and the software behind them.
Two kinds of people interact with what we build, and this policy speaks to both: the senior living communities who are our customers, and the families who use a community’s website to learn about care for someone they love.
When you use a community’s website powered by CensusDesk, you may choose to share your name and contact information, and answers about your family’s situation: the kind of care you’re exploring, general health and daily-living needs, timing, and budget comfort. You decide what to share, and every question can be skipped.
We use that information for exactly two things:
That’s the whole list. Your information is never shared with other communities, never added to a shared referral roster, never sold, and never used to advertise to you. This is the opposite of the referral-agency model, on purpose.
A note on health information: the details you share help a community understand fit. They are not medical records, we are not a healthcare provider, and nothing you share creates a provider relationship. Share only what you’re comfortable sharing.
When you request a demo or become a customer, we collect what you give us: your name, role, email, phone, community details, and any logo or brand materials you share. We may add public information about your community, such as state licensing records, so your demo lands closer to right on the first pass.
We use it to build your demo, run your service, send you service email, and support you. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else’s marketing.
The community does. Every lead captured through a community’s CensusDesk site belongs to that community, is exportable at any time, and leaves with them if they ever cancel. We act as the community’s service provider for that data, processing it only to run their service.
We keep this boring on purpose. We use only what the product needs to function, such as remembering a session. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share browsing data. If we ever add simple usage analytics, it will be to understand what to improve, not to follow anyone around the internet.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the product: cloud hosting, database storage, and email delivery. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us. We choose providers with strong security practices, and we don’t let anyone use your data for their own purposes.
Families receive email connected to their own inquiry: their Care Report and warm follow-ups from the community they contacted. Every follow-up includes a working unsubscribe, and unsubscribes are honored immediately and permanently. Communities receive service and account email from us. We honor unsubscribes on our side the same way, immediately and permanently.
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls, and limited to the people who need it to run the service. We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose it was shared for, or as the law requires. When a community cancels, their lead data goes with them and our copy is deleted on request.
Our websites are for adults arranging care for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, for customers, tell you directly. We won’t quietly weaken a promise made on this page.
